Janet Jackson isn’t just back together with Jermaine Dupri — sources say she’s planning their wedding.

Boy do I sure hope this is true ’cause if it’s not; it would take me from “infotainment journalist” into full-fledged “gossip writer!” Oh Lawd. If it backfires on me, forgive me. Couldn’t help this one, I like Janet and Jermaine.

According to the New York Daily News:

“[They] never fell out of love,” a pal says of the couple, who had called it quits last summer. “Now they’re hoping to get married early next year, and they’re rushing it because after Michael’s death, the family needs something to smile about.”

The couple split in September, but were spotted together when they attended the presentation of Vicini Spring/Summer Collection in Milan, followed up by Donatella Versace’s afterparty.

Social Networking and The Internet: Key to A Successful Entertainment Career

Perhaps you’re an aspiring actor, music artist, book author or whatever. I believe Social Networking and the Internet should play a vital role in the success of your entertainment career. The Internet is the future. The Internet is now, and if you’re not taking advantage of its golden opportunities to better your career, I’m afraid you may be missing the boat.

You have talent but waiting for someone to discover you is like waiting to hit the Mega Millions Lottery. The chances are totally stacked against you. However, I believe you can be successful if you learn to market yourself via the Internet. Your agent won’t do this for you. Your record company won’t do this for you. Your publicist, publisher or distributor will not do this for you. You know what? YOU’RE gonna have to do this for you.

I’m excited to write more about this in upcoming blog posts but the key to your future is…you’re looking at it. It’s right there on your computer screen, lol.

Anyway, I like to spend time studying Social Networking, New Media, the Internet and its relation to the entertainment business. A lot of actors and filmmakers are clueless to what’s going on with the Internet and New Media.

I will definitely be attending the next Blog World and New Media Expo. One person who understands the power of Social Networking is the already successful music producer Jermaine Dupri. Very smart guy. The video is a clip from JD’s Internet web series entitled, “Living The Life” but I want you to pay close attention to the 3:31 minute mark of the video. Powerful words.

Successful businesses test market everything and so should you. You can use the Internet as a testing ground for what works and what doesn’t. Mind you, you’ll have to put your ego aside. It’s just business, don’t take it personal, hehe.

So what’s the sense of going into the studio and recording an album that no one will like or buy? Why spend 3 million making a film that will barely make a quarter of that in DVD sales? Foolishness. At least test the market first.

Jermaine Dupri and Janet Officially Break-up: Video Archives Show Possible Reason

I’m quite disappointed that Jermaine Dupri and Janet Jackson didn’t last together. I like Jermaine and had the chance to catch up on the two on Jeramaine’s Livin’ the Life on Youtube and they seemed to hit it off quite well together.

I don’t know what went down but I do know the reason for the break-up could be that Jemaine was just a bit too short for her. Janet has a history of problems with men that are short in stature. Past video archives reveal this. See sample.

Celebrity Bloggers? Who Are They?

Lawdy, lawdy. The blog has a new look and I’m getting tempted to go a little “Hollywood”, lol, celebrity style. I’m just a regular guy actually, so let’s just say that I’m IN Hollywood but not OF Hollywood, lol. Ya, baby.

Seriously though, it’s not like I’m new at blogging. I’ve been blogging for quite a while now, about 4 years. I actually enjoy writing–a whole lot. For the most part, the first couple of years of my blog has been mostly “self-centered.” Not that I’m a self-centered person, its just that, as you know, blogs are online diaries, sorta. You’re SUPPOSED to talk about yourself, right? Inquiring minds wanna know.

I like to write about my deep spiritual experiences (I’m not finished with dat!) among other things, and I’m fascinated with online social networking in it’s relation to the Internet. But I’m also interested in discussing “The Hollywood Experience” from my point of view. “Im not one to gossip so you ain’t heard it from me!” Nah, we won’t have any of that here, but I WOULD like to cover “my take” on certain things that happens with celebrities. Unfortunately I think there is too much negative hype (I know, I know, ‘juice’ sells) but it would be interesting to cover the positive aspects of the celebrity life. Oh well, just thinking out loud–and blogging this.

Today, I was curious to know if there were any celebrity bloggers out there. Conclusion: A lot actually and especially on GlobalGrind.com. Howerever, most either don’t have the time, don’t make the time nor have the stamina to even keep a blog current. I didn’t realize that keeping up a blog could be tough for some people. It comes natural for me. Anyway, here’s an excerpt from Forbes.com and a link to the best celebrity blogs. Enjoy. So what do you think? Would it be interesting for celebs to blog (journal) about other celebs? We’re sorta seeing this on YouTube now, aren’t we?, with shows like Jermaine Dupri’s Living the Life? Can you name some others?
