On the surface, it seems that everything is just about perfect in Gabrielle Union’s world. She’s playing a lawyer on a hit TV show; she’s in love with a hot, younger man and she’s a spokesperson for a major skin care company. But the actress says she’s the first to admit that her self-work is nowhere near completed. “There are some things I personally want to improve upon in my own life,” she said. “I’m working on personality and character traits that I know need to be tweaked. So yes, I do want more.”

Ah South Beach. I need to go back—but with the family!

Last time I was in Miami I was having a fine “interesting” time hanging with the 2 Live Crew. Other than being drunk and tryin’ to start a fight with a Jamaican assassin and almost gettin’ my head chopped off….enjoyed myself.

I’m um, saved now.

Wow, no wind machine blowin’ through her hair. No glitz, glitter or glamour. This is Mariah Carey, the actress, like you’ve never seen her. I must admit, I was very impressed with Mariah’s acting in this short scene from director/producer Lee Daniels’ upcoming movie “Precious.”

Someone suggested I start reviewing movies on my blog and the one movie I’ve been anticipating to see and possibly review, is not out yet. Soon to be distributed by Lionsgate and with the support of Tyler Perry and Oprah, “Precious” will touch many hearts I’m sure. Mind you, this film has already been to The 2009 Sundance Film Festival, winning The Audience Award, The Grand Jury Prize and The Special Jury Prize (for acting) to actress Monique who also stars in the movie. Check out the scene. It’s real.

Now I don’t condone profanity, and especially when it’s so unnecessary in a lot of films but this scene is different. It’s genuine, real, and true. And those types of scenes make the best films. Anyway, below is the plot and upcoming released dates according to IMDB.com
