Gotta give props to Rick Ross, Diddy and the whole Dirty Money (Dawn and Kalenna) crew for a top notch ‘Hello Good Morning‘ live performance on George Lopez‘s Lopez Tonight.

The music was hyped, the dancers were hittin’ it and the crowd was loving it. Very well orchestrated and much props to Lopez Tonight‘s director–camera shots were on point as well.

New Music: Usher Ft. Jay-Z – ‘Hot Toddy’

Usher‘s hot new track entitled ‘Hot Toddy‘ recently hit the web. It’s a mid-tempo jam produced by the one and only Polow Da Don and written by Ester Dean.

The track also features a collabo with Jay-Z and is the second offering from Usher’s forthcoming album Versus, which will also be available as a deluxe CD with the re-release of his latest album, Raymond v. Raymond. The album will be available in stores and online August 24th.

Rapper 50 Cent says he’ll stop trading insults (battling) with his rapper colleagues. Highly-publicized battles have earned him a “bad guy” reputation and fiddy wants no more of it.

The In Da Club star has hit headlines in the past for his war of words with rivals including hip-hop heavyweight Rick Ross and music mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, but he insists he no longer wants to be known for his bad-mouthing.

He says, “I don’t have issues with people until they say things that make me feel like they want a problem. Point to one situation that I’ve been in, one altercation where I was competing with another artist that I’ve started… Ain’t that hip-hop? There’s always been battling. It’s always been a part of the culture.

In the future, because I’ve been kind of captured as the bad guy on some level because they watch me compete and win and it feels like it was effortless, I will (make) a point to not even respond. I’ll just look and watch people when they say things.”

Monica‘s “Love All Over Me” video officially premiered last week but there was a catch–it wasn’t complete. In the beautifully directed Hype Williams video, Mo has to make a choice between her old love, played my rapper Maino and her new love, played by up and coming Lakers shooting guard Shannon Brown.

Mo asked viewers to select the outcome of the video by voting online. Votes were tallied and with an overwhelming 73% of the votes, the fans have spoken.

Singer Al Jarreau Hospitalized in France

Grammy-award winning singer Al Jarreau was in intensive care in a French hospital Friday after encountering breathing problems in the Alps that forced him to cancel four concerts.

However, a note on his official Web site said the 70-year-old Jarreau was in “good spirits” and “looking forward to getting back out on the road.” The note said he would perform in Nuremburg, Germany, next Thursday as scheduled.

Jarreau fell ill before a concert Thursday at a jazz festival in the French mountain town of Barcelonnette, in the southern Alps, and “decided to take precautionary measures and admit himself into the hospital after his body did not adjust normally to mountain altitude.”
