Rapper T.I. married earlier today in a secret ceremony at a Miami Beach courthouse.

The 29-year-old superstar — real name Clifford Harris Jr. — swapped I Do’s with his longtime 35-year-old girlfriend Tameka “Tiny” Cottle.

The two have reportedly been dating since 2001.

I started not to post this but must admit, it had me crackin’ up so bad–couldn’t help it, so forgive me!

But why oh why Lord do they always have to have the most “outspoken” African-Americans on news segments? Ratings, maybe?

And speaking of ratings, I heard Antoine The Bounty Hunter is coming to a reality show near you. Just kiddin’.

It was actually a serious story but not sure if this particular news segment conveyed “serious,” lol.

Ellen DeGeneres Tweets She’s Leaving ‘American Idol’

“Dim the lights…I’ve voted myself off American Idol.”

That’s what Ellen DeGeneres tweeted late yesterday afternoon–so she’s officially leaving the show.

Ellen says she actually came to her decision a couple months ago and admitted that it was hard for her to judge people and sometimes hurt their feelings. Who can blame her, she’s no Simon Cowell.

She concludes, “I am very grateful for the year I had. I am a huge fan of the show and will continue to be.”

I usually don’t throw my opinion in my blog posts as I like to consider myself “an observer” of things. Experience has taught me to just watch things unfold and not judge any situation or anyone.

With that being said, what do you think about what Tim LaHaye (the best-selling author from the Left Behind series) said about president Barack Obama? Is this U.S. president “bringing the country closer to the apocalypse” or is this just right-wing foolery and nonsense to you? Video below.

Evangelical Christian minister Tim LaHaye says that the policy initiatives put forth by the Obama administration are bringing the country “closer to the apocalypse.”

LaHaye issued the dire warning in an appearance this week on Mike Huckabee’s talk show on Fox News.

“Our present president doesn’t seem to get it,” LaHaye explained. “He doesn’t understand that some of the things he’s introducing that many of us call ‘raw socialism’ — it’s a different name, but it’s essentially government control and government domination of everything.”

The evangelical voice said of the political platform maintained by the Obama administration, “It’s going to work against our country and bringing us closer to the apocalypse.”

Check out the movie trailer for director Eric Brevig‘s movie adaptation of the popular TV cartoon Yogi Bear. You remember Yogi, right?

The film combines CGI and live action (like Alvin and the Chipmunks) and this is the first official trailer for the movie.

Plot: A documentary filmmaker (Anna Faris) travels to Jellystone Park to shoot a project and soon crosses paths with Yogi Bear (Dan Aykroyd), his sidekick Boo-Boo (Justin Timberlake), and Ranger Smith (Tom Cavanagh).

You’ve got a little time, the movie won’t hit theaters until December 17, 2010. (in 3D)

Gotta give props to Rick Ross, Diddy and the whole Dirty Money (Dawn and Kalenna) crew for a top notch ‘Hello Good Morning‘ live performance on George Lopez‘s Lopez Tonight.

The music was hyped, the dancers were hittin’ it and the crowd was loving it. Very well orchestrated and much props to Lopez Tonight‘s director–camera shots were on point as well.

NBA’s Lorenzen Wright Found Dead

The worst possible outcome when former NBA basketball player Lorenzen Wright went missing recently has apparently come true.

Sources confirmed with the Memphis Commercial Appeal that a body found southeast of Memphis is that of Wright.

According to sources, a 9-1-1 call was made from Wright’s cell phone on July 19. A Germantown fire dispatcher could hear the loud blasts of several gunshots. The cellphone call ended at that point…

Wright was thought to be carrying some amount of cash when he was last seen leaving his ex-wife’s Collierville home, fueling concerns he may be the victim of foul play, according to a Collierville police report released today.

He recently flew from Atlanta to Memphis to visit friends and his six children, friends said. He was scheduled to drive back to the Atlanta area July 19, with his six children and a friend. He was last seen at about 2 a.m. July 19, leaving his ex-wife’s Whisperwood Drive home. His former wife, Sherra Robinson Wright, 39, told police she doesn’t know who he left with or what type of car they were in, according to the missing person’s report.

The latest reports have him being shot multiple times, up to 13. Obviously, the police have their work cut out for them.

I spotted this on the.lifefiles and couldn’t help but wonder how I would’ve reacted. OMG talk about being scared out of your wits! I really didn’t think this video was very funny. It’s the “ultimate prank” but I know some of you will be laughing, lol.

But honestly, how would you react if your “pilot friend” pretended to pass out while you were thousands of miles up in a small plane?

I don’t think the video was staged–how could it be? Listen to the way the man screams…too real! I would’ve strangled that guy…AFTER WE LANDED, of course, hehe.

Old Spice Guy Lands Role in Jennifer Aniston Movie

Isaiah Mustafa, the “Hello ladies…” man who you all know from the extremely popular Old Spice commercials has joined Jennifer Aniston and Jason Bateman in the upcoming new comedy ‘Horrible Bosses.’

“It’s a smaller role, but who wouldn’t want to be in one of these funny, irreverent comedies? The cast is great,” Mustafa tells The Hollywood Reporter. “I’m playing a cop because I play these authoritative characters well. I don’t know exactly who I’m in the scene with — maybe Jennifer Aniston!”

‘Horrible Bosses’ also stars Kevin Spacey, Jamie Foxx and Colin Farrell and is expected to hit theaters next July.
