Something About the Waves On a Beach

Waves-Beach

I live in sunny California but I do not take advantage of its beaches like I should. There’s something about the waves on a beach. Going to the beach (in general) is very therapeutic. It’s peaceful and tranquil.

There must be some scientific facts behind it; visiting the beach is so very relaxing and peaceful. Every time I visit the shores of California I always get that feeling of peace. It’s God’s peace. Have you experienced this as well?

I try to hit the beach (Florida) at least once per year and other waterfront destinations as often as I can. I also attend the beach baptisms my church has. The last one for the year will be in October. The first is always sunrise service on Easter Sunday. Thanks for sharing the lovely pic!

I can relate to that. Those waves are beautiful and relaxing. It’s so common that we take things for granted, and I definitely understand about you being surrounded by the beaches but not taking the time to get out there and enjoy them. It’s funny how that happens. I live and work in the Washington, DC area, rich in culture, history and art that Smithsonian museums give, and they bring in tourists from all over the world to see. But I seldom take the time to really enjoy them. I find myself doing that more often when someone comes to visit and they want to do touristy type things. Like going to the beach, going to the Smithsonian museums is free and they both can take you away from the here and now – from the daily rat race – to a whole new beautiful other place.
