Lindsay Lohan Arrested After Leaving Scene of Accident in NYC

Actress Lindsay Lohan was arrested in New York City early this morning after allegedly hitting a pedestrian with her Porsche and fleeing the scene.

According to TMZ, law enforcement officials said Lohan hit the knee of a man (who has since been hospitalized and released with no visible injuries) as she was attempting to park her Porsche in front of her hotel at roughly 2am. One of Lindsay’s passengers reportedly got out of her car to check if the collision damaged her vehicle, before the group left the car and entered the hotel.

Police were called and Lohan was arrested as she was exiting the hotel about 30 minutes after the incident took place. Lohan was reportedly booked on a misdemeanor charge for leaving the scene of an accident. She has since been released.
