Zeus is one BIG dog — and now he’s officially being recognized as the world’s tallest by Guinness World Records.
The pics released by Guinness says it all — the photos were taken on Nov. 3, 2011 and shows the 3-year-old Great Dane hanging out in his hometown of Otsego, Michigan.
When Zeus stands up on his hind legs, he’s 7-foot-4, beating out the previous record-holder, Giant George, by an inch.
Zeus measures 44 inches from foot to shoulder and weighs 155 pounds.
Owner Denise Doorlag tells the Associated Press that she had to buy a van just to truck the big hound around.
“Down boy…down!!!”
