Missed the VMAs because I was tuned into the final night of the 2012 Democratic National Convention.
In fact, the whole week was full of energy and hope at the DNC this week and I was truly inspired by many who spoke — the convention seemed to really reveal the heart of America — a major difference from the RNC.
Anyway, I thoroughly enjoyed First Lady Michelle Obama‘s speech, Bill Clinton‘s and Vice President Joe Biden‘s.
President Barack Obama asked America on Thursday night to give him a second term, in a speech reaching back to the touchstone of “hope and change” that propelled him to the White House in 2008, while also acknowledging the unfinished work in achieving that promise. (NBCNews.com)
