A Teary-Eyed Rihanna Opens Up About Chris Brown On Oprah’s Next Chapter (Video)

I’m really liking Oprah’s Next Chapter…we’re finally getting to some substance with entertainers — behind all the gyrating and vain lyrics in music.

I loved the recent 50 Cent interview with Oprah and now it’s singer Rihanna‘s turn. Haven’t watched the full episode yet (um, ’cause it hasn’t aired yet, lol), but the girl seems genuine in the below footage.

Celebrities are human too, as you know, and Oprah sho’ knows how to bring out that “human side” in entertainers. Sounds like Rihanna still has feelings for Chris Brown — check out the footage below.

Three years have passed since that tragic night between Rihanna and then boyfriend Chris Brown. The Bajan pop star speaks with Oprah during her visit to Barbados about the night of February 8, 2009, holding back tears she explains the control she lost within herself following that evening.

“Everything I knew was switched, switched in a night. And I couldn’t control that. So I had to deal with that, and that’s not easy for me to understand or interpret. It’s not easy to interpret on camera — not with the world watching. So it was hard for me to even pay attention to my mind and figuring things out because now it became a circus.”

    I’m hearing many people criticize Rihanna for still dealing with Chris. I heard on the news last night about some women’s groups attacking her for not leaving him alone. But if we truly get real, Rihanna is no different than any other woman who has been with a man who beat or hit her. A lot of them don’t find it easy to let go. But I am glad she opened up, in spite of her criticism. People somehow think that celebrities are immune to troubles, pain. Deep in side, everyone is human.
