Katherine Jackson Receives Standing Ovation at Jackson Concert

Well hallelujah. Now this is news I like hearing and blogging about.

With all the craziness that has been reported via news outlets and the blogosphere as of late — there’s still some peace and unity within one of the most famous families in the world — The Jackson Family.

Mrs. Katherine Jackson spent her Friday night showing the world she was anything but missing in action — the 82-year-old mother of Michael Jackson attended a concert by the late king of pop’s brothers Jackie, Jermaine, Tito, and Marlon, The New York Daily News reports.

Mrs. Jackson’s public appearance came nearly a week after she was reported missing and amid a Jackson family dispute which has seen siblings Randy, Jermaine, Janet and Rebbie seeking to challenge the validity of Michael’s will.

After the Saratoga, California concert, part of the brothers’ Unity Tour, Jackie tweeted that his mother’s appearance was quite popular with the crowd and she even received a standing ovation.

Michael’s children, Prince Michael, Paris and Blanket also appeared at the concert. Well alright now.

Jermaine signaled the family bitterness could soon be nearing a resolution, tweeting:

You all have families. Sometimes it gets complicated. Whatever happens, whatever is said, we are family, we are One, we will heal
