Okay Madea fans and Tyler Perry lovers and haters…here’s the weekend figure for Madea’s Witness Protection..

I was tryin to get around to seeing the movie (woulda been my first time going to see a Tyler Perry film) over the weekend but I just hung out with the family at home. I still may get around to seeing it if I don’t blog anything for two hours!

Madea’s Witness Protection ended up in the 4th spot for its weekend box office debut, bringing in a nice $26 million, according to studio estimates.

But the big winner over this weekend was Ted, the Mark Wahlberg, Mila Kunis and Seth MacFarlane flick — it brought in a WHOPPING $54 million at the box office!

Magic Mike took the #2 spot at 39 milli and Brave raked in $34 million.

It’s been a heat wave across the nation but it looks like folks still got out the house!
