CBS Signs Deal with Arsenio Hall to Return to Late Night Television

Arsenio Hall

Well, our wish came true — Arsenio Hall is returning to late night TV!

CBS Television Distribution has signed a deal with the actor/comedian to developed a syndicated late-night talk show for Fall 2013.

As you already may know, Arsenio was last seen taking the crown on NBC’s “Celebrity Apprentice.”

He’s best known for his late night talk show that ran from 1989 to 1994. The new Arsenio is show slated is set for Fall 2013.

Congrats to Arsenio!

Hey, you wanna see something cool?

I was guest-starring on the “Amen” show back in 1989 on the Paramount lot and guess who comes next door “live” with the cameras to surprise the AMEN cast? Arsenio Hall.

I was stunned. I had just booked the role 2 hours earlier (as a last-minute replacement for someone else) and I had to rush to the set.

Anyway, it was all live and I was just sitting there rehearsing. To top it off, during the live taping (which ended up being on his The Arsenio Hall Show later that evening), Arsenio was like, “I know this gentleman, this is Shavar Ross!

Yeah, we go way back, lol, but what a plug! Arsenio gave me props! I later called his office and spoke with him to thank him! Check out the video below to see what I’m talkin’ about!

This is good. I’ve been waiting for this for a long time. I was in college when he was on last time. I like the show, I was often dragging to work and school because I stayed up too late watching Arsenio.
