I know y’all. I usually don’t blog about “Basketball Wives” but I got an inside tip and I couldn’t help it! And since you know I have soooo much time on my hands — here goes…

Earlier today TMZ reported that BBW producers had given Jennifer, Royce and Kesha their walking papers. But the peeps over at Hiphollywood.com spoke exclusively with a source close to production who gave the REAL STORY behind what’s going on with the show.

According to the source, there will be some new faces on season 5 of Basketball Wives, but no one has been asked to leave the show.

According to the source, there is a possibility that one of the cast-members will be leaving the show, but nothing has been confirmed yet.

The source also clarified rumors that the firings were spearheaded by Shaunie O’Neal, saying that the move to fire anyone lies in the hands of production and legal — not O’Neal.

The source also said there has been ongoing tension between Shaunie and Shed Media regarding the direction of the show, and O’Neal has been displeased for several seasons.

O’Neal told “The Insider” that if things don’t change she would not return for season 5.
