Former Fleetwood Mac Member Bob Welch Commits Suicide


Bob Welch, a former member of the famous group Fleetwood Mac was found dead in his home in Nashville today after shooting himself in the chest, according to Nashville law enforcement officials.

Welch, who was 66, was found by his wife around noon. According to police — Welch, who had health issues recently — left a suicide note.

Welch was a guitarist and vocalist for Fleetwood Mac from 1971 to 1974. He formed the British rock group Paris in 1976, and had hits including “Sentimental Lady” and “Ebony Eyes.”
