Oh I love this song and video by Royalty entitled, “Girl Girl.”
I wanna direct a music video so bad now, lol. Famous music artists or not-so-famous, I own care. If I can direct a feature film, a music video will be a cinch. Before the end of the year, mos def!
I’d like to get into directing music videos ’cause they’re short and sweet, lol, just like this blog post.
My first film took me 3 years to make. Independent filmmaking is not as easy as it looks. The extra financing from the film’s distributor took about 6 months to obtain, not to mention the 75K from my own pocket and even extra financing from additional investors. And that was considered the ULTRA LOW BUDGET, LOL.
Proud to say that my film ‘Lord Help Us’ has made its money back plus more with well over $600,000 in sales. Not bad for a straight-to-DVD movie and it still continues to sell to this day.
However, the time away from my family making that ONE movie was grueling.
