Kelis Strikes Back with New “Acapella” Song
For all you Kelis fans: after being absent for some time from the popular microblogging site we all know as Twitter, singer Kelis on Monday tweeted her fans a little gift–a link to her new song entitled “Acapella.”
Haven’t tweeted in awhile so I feel like I owe u something fun. My new song is called Acapella. Enjoy! xo
“Acapella” is Kelis’ first song since parting ways with Jive Records in 2007. She recently signed a record deal with Interscope and is working on a new album which is yet to be titled.
In regards to her new deal, Kelis replied, “My album is pretty much done. I signed a new deal and I’m madly in love with life and ready to share something with you. My new song is called ‘Acapella’ and I wrote it with love and life in mind.”
The new song is reportedly produced by the popular DJ, David Guetta, who is currently promoting his latest album, One Love.
