Yankee Franchise: Please Give Reggie Jackson LIFETIME Game Tickets
Wow, so sad to see that “Mr. October” himself, Reggie Jackson, did not even have tickets to see the New York Yankees win the World Series last night in New York.
The 63 year old Hall-of-Famer, who currently serves as a special advisor to the New York Yankees did not seem to have two tickets for he and his friend to attend the game.
Though I did not particularly care for the spin of TMZ portraying him as “looking for a handout,” I will assume that first of all, if Mr. Jackson REALLY wanted to go to the game, he could’ve paid for the tickets himself. Secondly, there’s no way in the world you can be “special advisor” to the Yankee franchise and not have at LEAST two tickets to the World Series, right? Lastly, video can be deceiving sometimes. It could’ve been a last minute decision for him wanting to attend.
Sure looked sad at the end of the video when he asked his friend and fellow hall-of-famer and Emmy-winning commentator for ESPN Joe Morgan to help with getting him some tickets. Hopefully Joe came through for him. How sad. This man should never have to ask anyone for Yankee tickets.
