Top Gospel Albums This Week
‘Still’ from BeBe & CeCe Winans celebrates its second week atop the Billboard Top Gospel Charts at the top spot this week. The album also sits at #4 on the Billboard Top Hip-Hop/R&B charts and #25 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums Charts. Fred Hammond’s latest Love Unstoppable comes in at #2 and #67 on the Top 200 Albums Charts.
The Sound from Mary Mary takes the #3 position, with Vickie Winans’ How I Got Over jumping six places to the #4 position. Souled Out from Hezekiah Walker & LFC moves to the #5 spot. In other chart news, Brian Courtney Wilson’s Just Love jumps three spots to #9 and the compilation album Gospel’s Best: Men/Women/Choirs leaps seventeen spots to #14.
In the world of radio, “Close To You” from BeBe & CeCe Winans celebrates its sixth week atop the charts this week. “They That Wait” from Fred Hammond & John P. Kee leaps to the #2 position while “God In Me” from Mary Mary featuring Kierra Sheard takes the #3 position. James Fortune & FIYA’s “I Wouldn’t Know You” comes in at #4 while “Wait On The Lord” from Donnie McClurkin & Karen Clark Sheard rounds out the week’s top five songs. (Oct. 25, 2009)
