Memba Eddie Kane from The Five Heartbeats? Michael Wright is Back

michael_wright_actorI know you guys remember the drugged-out “Eddie Kane” from the 1991 movie “The Five Heartbeats,” right?  Well, the talented and very eccentric actor Michael Wright is back on the acting scene.  Yeah, we haven’t seen Michael in quite a while and yes, some of us even wondered if Michael actually somehow morphed into his on-screen character in real life, but far from the truth.

I remember my first time meeting Michael in New York while visiting a friend on the set of the 1993 film Sugar Hill with Wesley Snipes.  We’ll, all I can say is Mike is one serious actor.  He and Snipes tore that movie up.

The great thing about the Internet is that you can establish yourself with an online presence.  Gotta love social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter.  I wouldn’t be in the loop with any of my friends and family if were not for Facebook and Twitter.  That’s a blessing.

Anyway, Michael’s got some great opening screen time in 50 Cent’s upcoming movie entitled, “Before I Self Destruct.” He’s also said to have recently completed another film with Jamie Hector and Charles “Roc” Dutton.

You guys show Michael some love by hitting him up on his new Facebook page.  I’m sure he’d love to hear from you.
